ABOUT TxAVF

The Texas Association of Venues & Facilities originated in 1997 when a group of leaders in East Texas formed an organization to share resources and ideas.  Originally known as the Texas Civic Center Association, TxAVF has been recognized as a statewide organization.

Today, TxAVF operates as a 5013c continues to offer membership benefits to Texas public assembly facilities, recreation facilities, and industry specific vendors.



  • Access to open discussion forums to discuss challenges or present questions to other members to gain insight into best practices or achieve solutions

  • Access to bi-monthly meetings which includes lunch, tour of a facility, and networking opportunities

  • Access to Annual Conference with education sessions on relevant topics

  • Access to special offers specifically for TxAVF members from industry vendors

  • Listing on TxAVF website with facility description and photos available for public searches on the internet

REGULAR MEMBER
   $200 Annually
     (Note: There is a one-time, non-recurring $25 service
     fee for first-time members)
     Eligible members include a single facility such as
     convention centers, civic centers, conference centers,
     equestrian centers, theaters, recreation or senior
     centers.
REGULAR PLUS MEMBER
   $200 Annually
     Consists of a city, entity or group that has multiple
     but separate facilities as part of its group, including
     convention, civic, conference and/or equestrian
     centers. There are also recreation facilities, theaters
     and senior centers as members. Each facility will
     have its own listing on the member directory,
     however the group will only pay $200 as a whole.
ALLIED PARTNERS
   $200 Annually
     Eligible members include businesses that supply
     product or services that are members use such as:           A/V, cleaning services or supplies, décor, event or             venue supplies, software, etc...
ASSOCIATE MEMBER
   $175 Annually

     Eligible members include facilities or venues that are      under construction or in planning stages.

* Rates subject to annual update by Board of Directors

There will be an increase in Membership Dues in 2023
